By renting equipment from Eastside Event Rentals, you agree to the following terms:
1. Rental Period
All bookings are on a day basis. At a minimum each rental is available for a full 24-hour period. The rental period starts the day after the equipment is picked up (as per the date) and it ends the next day morning (at 10 AM). Each rental will come with a full 24-hour period of rent.
2. Deposit
A refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental amount (capped at $250) will be held on your credit card. This deposit will be refunded after the equipment is returned in satisfactory condition within 3–5 business days.
3. Damage or Loss
You are responsible for any damage or loss of equipment during the rental period. Charges for repairs or replacement will be deducted from your deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit amount, you will be charged the difference. For furniture, damages are billed as follows: damaged chairs at $20 per chair, any table at $60 per table, canopies at $150 per canopy.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made after 48 hours of booking are subject to a 30% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental period will be charged at 50% of the rental amount. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
5. Equipment Use
Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and in a safe manner. Improper use may result in additional charges. All equipment must be returned in the same condition as received.
6. Cleaning
Equipment must be returned in a clean condition. Additional cleaning fees may apply for excessively dirty items. Cleaning fees will be deducted from the deposit.
7. Liability
Eastside Event Rentals is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the use of rented equipment. Renters assume all risks associated with the use of the equipment.
8. Communications Consent (SMS, Email & Phone)
By placing an order with Eastside Event Rentals, you expressly consent to receive communications from us, including but not limited to:
- SMS / Text Messages — reservation confirmations, pickup/drop-off reminders, delivery updates, and other transactional notifications sent to the phone number you provide.
- Email — booking confirmations, invoices, payment receipts, and service-related updates.
- Phone Calls — scheduling coordination, reservation changes, and customer service follow-ups.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your rental activity. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. Opting out of SMS will not affect other communications (email or phone). For help, reply HELP or contact us at (425) 499-0836.
We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number or email address with third parties for marketing purposes. Your contact information is used solely for communications related to your rental with Eastside Event Rentals.
9. Privacy
We collect only the personal information necessary to fulfill your rental (name, phone, email, address, payment details). This data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties except as required to process payments or comply with legal obligations.
